Inplant training of students in reputed industries/ institutions viz. Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Bhaskar, BTV, ETV Rajasthan, Hathway Datacom Central Pvt. Ltd. Jaipur, Marwar Channel UNICEF, CHETNA, ICECD etc. is arranged. This provides practical on the job training exposure to students and acquaint the industries to know the potentialities of H.Sc. Graduates.
M.Sc. Students are placed for 2-3 weeks in GO/NGO working for rural development to study the complete functioning of the organizations, participate in their activities and plan and carry out different projects.
The extension & training activities in the department are carried out through course work both at U.G. & P.G. level. The students organize various activities and transfer technologies to farm women related to nutrition, child care, health and sanitation, grain storage, safe drinking water, drudgery reduction technologies, agriculture, etc. through different methods and media like demonstrations, lectures, meetings, campaign, exhibition, film/slide shows, puppet shows, etc. The staff members also participate in Kisan Mela and organize trainings for rural women.
